USB Drive Shows in Disk Management but Not in File Explorer

Formatting may make the USB usable again, but it creates a new file system and removes normal access to the current data.
Do not use CHKDSK as the first response to a RAW volume. CHKDSK is designed for file systems that Windows already recognizes. It is not a general data-recovery tool and may refuse to run on RAW storage.
Try the USB on the computer, camera, recorder, game console, or other device where it last worked. If it opens there, copy the files immediately. If it remains RAW and the files are important, stop writing new data to the drive and recover the files before attempting repairs.
Unallocated or Not Initialized
